Big Sky Theatre is a newly established outdoor theatre company in Calgary, Alberta. We aim to produce theatrical adaptations of classic works in response to the land.

Through our productions, we build bridges between Calgary’s emerging and professional artists. These bridges are built on and offstage, through performance and mentorship.

We strive to collaborate across artistic disciplines. We endeavour to produce works that honour and advance the diverse voices in our communities. We are committed to staging theatre sustainably and delighting Calgarians under our big Albertan skies.
